Initial Coordination Session Mexico – USA
On July 22, 2025, Coder Juarez participated in the meeting on the “Strategic Plan for Border Crossings (CFI)”, known as International Border Crossing Strategic Plan (IBC), promoted by the Metropolitan Planning Organization of El Paso (MPO).
During the session, important topics were addressed in the organization and development of the inaugural meeting of the IBC Steering Committee and Border Infrastructure Board. These spaces seek to promote productive integration, as well as optimize mobility and efficiency at the border crossings of our region, made up of Chihuahua, Texas and New Mexico.
This meeting marks the beginning of a series of activities that will take place between August and September 2025, with the purpose of jointly building a strategic agenda between stakeholders, and ensuring shared understanding of the overall objective, scope and relevance of the plan.
From Coder Juarez, we thank the El Paso Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for making us part of this binational initiative. As an articulating body, we will be supporting the coordination of specialized forums with the different interest groups, with the aim of knowing perspectives and proposals that enrich this important project. Let’s join this binational collaborative effort, which will lead to tangible solutions for a more dynamic and productive border.
