Last Wednesday, August 7, we participated in the monthly meeting of the Citizen Oversight Council for the Regional Specialty Hospital Project. During this session, national authorities from the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) presented the critical path for the project’s completion, announcing that Phase One operations would begin this week.
We appreciate and recognize the significant impact this new healthcare infrastructure will bring to our community. Most importantly, we commend the collaborative and participatory approach fostered within this Citizen Council, where representatives from all levels of government and civil society have met monthly to closely monitor the project’s progress.
There is no doubt that when we work in alignment and collaboration, great things can happen for our beloved region.
