On Monday, July 15, we had the opportunity to learn about the next phase of the Vision Ciudad Juárez 2040 Project through Elkin Velásquez, Regional Representative for Latin America and the Caribbean at UN-Habitat, and Joaquín Guillemí, Consultant and Program Development Analyst. This project is led by the Municipal Government, and the visit was coordinated by Verónica González Sepúlveda, Resilience Coordinator. Several members of CODER Juárez’s Board of Directors, along with President Humberto Álvarez Quevedo, were also present.
The dialogue between the guests and the Board concluded by emphasizing the importance of promoting collaborative action plans aimed at achieving shared objectives, fostering economic development, strengthening the social fabric, and ultimately improving the quality of life for the people of Juárez.
