On November 16, El Paso Community Foundation and the Juárez Business Coordinating Council, jointly with Coder Juárez, organized a dialogue table to present the project by GSA (U.S. General Services Administration) on the modernization of the international bridge Cordova-Americas.
The presentation was given by Daniel Partida, Mr. Project Manager of the Bridge of the Americas project (boot) of the U.S. office. General Services Administration (GSA) accompanied by Charlie Hart, Southern Border Executive, Public Buildings Service, U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).
Nora Yu, President of the Association of Customs Agents and President of the Business Coordinating Council, the Consul General of Mexico at Paso Mauricio Ibarra Ponce de León, Humberto Álvarez, President of Coder Juárez, Mario Porras, Director of Binational Affairs of El Paso Community Foundation, Julio Jiménez, deputy director of New Mexico Border Authority, as well as representatives of the carriers’ union, members of the Association of Customs Agents, officials of the municipal and state government, as well as authorities from the Mexican Border Customs.
In conclusion, a very productive meeting was held, in Coder Juárez we support all the initiatives that encourage foreign trade, which as a border, is one of the main activities of our city and region made up of three states, New Mexico, Texas and Chihuahua.
